BRAVO !

Spent some hours tonight watching Fashion's Night Out: The Show and I have to say I was beyond impressed, I'm speechless really. The clothes, the models, the runway; everything was such a great inspiration. Some of my friends and I are planning on attending the event in the city this Friday so hopefully all goes as planned and things work out because it will surely be the experience of a lifetime.

UNDER THE STARS

Fooled around with makeup with my cousin and friend a few days ago and went insane. Being that I rarely actually do my makeup I did my hair and threw on a potential dress to wear to the sweet sixteens coming up; I only wish I had somewhere to go the day that I actually did this! Back to school is coming up fast [I go back Tuesday!] and I'm currently holding myself hostage in my room trying to make myself finish The Scarlett Letter. Good thing I'm only on chapter 5. xx

Oh, and in regards to my first attempt at sewing Monday: the power went out before my grandma actually got to showing me anything of course but at like 10 after the power returned I practiced just using the machine on an old pillowcase. I do have some potential projects I would like to do though and I got some great plaid fabrics for scarves I will also be using.

NO MORE EXCUSES

I'm off to my grandma's to take my long anticipated first sewing lesson. So tomorrow, I'm really cracking down on my posting on the blog. My cousin was here this week and we took tons of pictures so i have a ton of stuff to post. Above is a small preview, much more is still to come so stay tuned !

||OBSESSED||

I haven't left the house without these few items lately. To say the least, I'm obsessed and I'm sure I will be for awhile. I've never really been much of an accessories person either, but I guess you can say things change. One things for sure you won't be seeing me often without that ring, bracelet, or bag slung over my shoulder.

I've been volunteering at a camp all week so outfits have been simple. Snapped a few pictures in this one but added some of my favorite shoes for fun. Now, I'll get back to reading the multitude of catalogs at my side {back to school could not be coming any quicker} and finish up my delicious bag of gummy bears.

SUMMER LOVIN

Just returned from a week long vacation. Sorry for the lack of posts, but this summer has been so busy. But for now, I really want to devote myself to the new blog and really get it running. I have tons of posts planned so keep checking in. So much more is soon to come xoxo
